Does microcurrent/EMS deplete ATP?

There is mis-information on YouTube about EMS devices for the face depleting ATP (cellular energy).

Most EMS devices are used on the body, like TENS machines and in physical therapy, rehabilitation etc. These devices operate above 1 Amp, so are NOT 'microcurrent' devices. At this level, EMS does deplete ATP.

Maysama's Urchin operates at 400 microamps and would therefore stimulate ATP production.
